Charged twice for my trip and terrible customer service - Greyhound bus ticket

I have been a loyal user of Greyhound bus ses for many years and have been thoroughly disappointed with the rapid decline in customer service. My first terrible experience with Greyhound happened in Toronto after I had just missed my bus due to traffic. The ticket agent was very rude to me and wasn't sympathetic about my situation at all. I was aware that there was nothing that could be done and that I would have to purchase another ticket when the agent yelled (so do you want the ticket or not? Because if you don't I'm busy and don't waste my time.) Shocked and frustrated I bought the ticket and waited for my bus to come.

The second incident happened one week later over the phone. I purchased my tickets and was given a confirmation number. However, when I arrived at the Greyhound station at 12am the next day my ticket had been cancelled with no notification and no refund and I had to buy another ticket on the spot to get to my destination. When I contacted customer service about my issue the lady over the phone said the money had been refunded and it would take 7-14 days to be put into my account. Firstly I find this to be terribly slow amount of time for a refund to be placed back onto my visa. Secondly, when I expressed my concerns about not being happy that my ticket was cancelled without contacting me the lady over

the phone scoffed at me and said that the phone greyhound is a 3rd party company and not responsible for contacting people about tickets that are cancelled for fraudulent reasons and misinformation. This was said to me in a very condescending and accusing tone as if I was being made out to be a con artist of some sorts. I found this comment truly offensive and I have used the same visa to buy from Greyhound many times before. Furthermore, I gave the customer service representative all my correct information on the phone when purchasing my ticket which means if anything went wrong that the representative put my information wrong into the system. As I said before I have used Greyhound for many years but after the various encounters with terrible customer service and negative experiences I will no longer be using Greyhound travel services, will not be recommending their travel services to anyone.
