Greyhound Worst Bus Company on Planet

The Greyhound bus website is disorganized, confusing, ugly, and does not provide users with enough information. For example, I could not find which Manhattan bus station my ticket was for even after looking for hours for it. There are not enough ways to contact customer service. Also the one time I unfortunately was forced to actually ride a Greyhound bus it was slow and disgusting. I just recently tried to buy a ticket online, which became literally impossible as the site rejected my credit card. I was directed to call a number; when I called all I could hear was a dial tone. I don't understand how this is possible. How do you not have a call waiting or an automatic answering system on your customer service lines. That makes no sense. Actually I don't even really understand how Greyhound can be considered a company because a company is supposed to take my money and give me goods in return but apparently that's impossible with Greyhound. My credit card which is fully functional was rejected and I was not able to buy a ticket. After somehow managing to get through, I was put on hold for an HOUR AND A HALF. That is a huge waste of my time especially because when someone finally answered the phone they were EXTREMELY unhelpful and rude and incompetent and insinuated that the problem was MY fault instead of taking responsibility for something that was CLEARLY the fault of the company. The bus stations themselves are DIRTY, CONFUSING, AND UGLY, JUST LIKE THE COMPANY IS. I literally REFUSE to ever ride on Greyhound.

We advise to select a different fare type. Fares are offered for a Limited Time only and cannot be guaranteed. If you can, please e-mail social.media@greyhound.com your full name, mailing address, the time/date you contacted our Customer Service Line, and if possible, the agent you spoke to.
