Vancouver Greyhound Customer Service was very unfriendly and unhelpul - GREYHOUND


The actual bus trip was fine despite it being lengthy but the lady at the customer service desk certainly left me feeling frazzled. I was about to board the bus and my baggage didn't have a destination tag, and the person loading the bus told me to go to the customer service desk and get a tag for it "QUICKLY!" I jogged over towards the lady at the desk, I was maybe 5 feet from the counter when she shut the window and put up a closed sign. I figured if she knew I just needed a tag she could just give it to me. I went up to the window and asked "Hi could I just have one of those tags for my baggage?" she glared at me then ignored me for a few seconds. I didn't leave and she replied rather disrespectfully "ummm yaaa I'm closed right now.." she didn't help me whatsoever and didn't tell me where else I could get one.Although having a tag isn't wildly important, I became very anxious and stressed and ran outside to one of the security guards and explained what happened. He fortunately was very polite and pulled out a tag from his pocket and let me fill it out. On my whole two week trip everyone I dealt with was kind and helpful except her. Needless to say it took every ounce of my usually well mannered being to not to retort and I was left with the feeling that I had done something wrong by asking a simple question.
